Privacy notice
Updated 7 November 2026. This notice explains what happens to the details you give Electricians Galway (electriciansgalway.ie).
Who we are
Electricians Galway (electriciansgalway.ie) is the controller of your personal data. Contact us through the quote form on this website (say it is a privacy request).
What we collect
When you fill in the form: your name, phone number, area, the type of job and any details you add.
To see which pages are useful, we count page visits and taps on the buttons, with our own counter and Cloudflare Web Analytics, and note roughly where a visit comes from (town and country, worked out by Cloudflare from the connection) and whether it is a phone or a computer. Neither uses cookies, and neither stores anything that identifies you.
Why, and on what legal basis
To put you in touch with a local electrician about your job, because you asked us to (your consent, which you give with the tick box, and steps you asked for before a contract). You can withdraw your consent at any time through the quote form on this website (say it is a privacy request).
Who we share it with
We pass your request to one independent electrician who works in your area, so they can contact you and quote for the job. They become responsible for your data when they use it to deal with you. We also use service providers to run this website and store requests (Cloudflare for hosting, n8n on our own server for handling the form, Notion for our records, Google (Gmail) for emailing us each request and Telegram for alerts). We never sell your details or use them for marketing.
How long we keep it
We keep requests for up to 24 months, so we can deal with follow-up questions or complaints, and then delete them.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, through the quote form on this website (say it is a privacy request). If you're not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission (www.dataprotection.ie).
